Giải BAFTA cho nam diễn viên chính xuất sắc nhất là một giải BAFTA dành cho nam diễn viên đóng vai chính trong một phim, được bầu chọn là xuất sắc nhất trong năm.

Từ năm 1852 tới năm 1967, giải phân ra hai loại: diễn viên người Anh xuất sắc nhất và diễn viên nước ngoài xuất sắc nhất. Từ năm 1968, hai giải trên hợp nhất thành một. Tên "Nam diễn viên xuất sắc nhất trong một vai chính" được sử dụng từ năm 1995.
